Offshore

We have had a long run of good weather and fairly warm temps. Just came back from an amazing family trip on Black Friday where we caught a good assortment of fish. Some catch and release due to seasonal closures but some keepers as well. It was nice to have the weekends to catch the red snapper during November. Red Snappers are closed now till sometime next year, and Triggerfish are closed through 2017 (!!!) though they are both still biting, so catch and release on those for the remainder of the year. The Amberines (lesser amberjacks) are showing up along with the Flounders. There are still plenty of Kings around and they will stay as long as there is bait up on the beach. Vermillion snappers continue to line the pegs on the docks as fishermen bring in their catches of the day.

Inshore

Inshore fishing in November is hot. Expect catch speckled trout, redfish, flounder, and mullet.
