The Daybreak was built by renowned Destin boat builders G&S Yachts to charter fish in our local waters, and it does that extremely well. The boat is 40′ long, 17′ wide, and powered by two Cummins diesel engines.
What makes the Daybreak unique is the catamaran style hull. This twin hull design allows the boat to be quick and responsive. It also makes for an incredibly stable fishing platform with less side to side motion than most v-hull vessels. The full cabin is air-conditioned, has plenty of seating, several bunks and a walk-in bathroom.

About Captain Stan:
Captain Stan Phillips began fishing the waters surrounding Destin as a teenager in the early 80's. He was first employed as a deckhand on the fishing boat Emmanuel in the summer of 1989. From 2000 to 2013, Captain Stan owned and operated the charter boat Sea Winder. Captain Stan then purchased, refurbished and began operating the renowned charter boat Destination in 2013.
Although Capt. Stan still owns and operates the charter boat Destination, he has always loved the unique design, style and history of the Daybreak. When the opportunity to purchase the vessel became a reality last Fall, he just couldn’t resist. The boat truly is one of a kind, and he believes it is the perfect addition to the Destin Harbor's world famous charter fishing fleet. He feels sure that you will agree!

The 19′ Cobia we rented was an excellent boat. It was well maintained and had all the options a fishing boat should have.
